When you choose Curran, you’re not just choosing over seven decades of experience or a team of civil construction experts – you’re choosing a partner that understands the importance of on-site safety.

We’re constantly working on new ways – from developing a proactive Environmental Health and Safety programme (in accordance with OHSAS 18001 standards) to making sure we conduct weekly on-site safety talks – to make that our sites are as safe as possible, so that we can completely minimize the chance of injury.

(And it’s not just to keep our crews safe; we’ve found that our safety-first culture also improves our efficiency, keeping your project on schedule and preventing any unexpected delays.)

A reputation for safety

Our commitment to reducing lost time injuries has been recognized year-after-year with a series of awards and accreditations.

We’ve ranked in first or second place for Best Safety Performance across the whole of Ontario for the past two decades, have been awarded 100% compliance by our local IEC and have consistently achieved the Zero Injury Frequency Award by the Ontario General Contractors Association.

As a leader of on-site safety, we’re also a member of ISNetworld, ComplyWorks Ltd, the Sarnia-Lambton Industrial Educational Co-Operative and the Construction Safety Association of Ontario.
